![]() If I buy this game and give it a try, I'm wondering if waiting a year or two between wars would help a lot with the unstability.Īlso, if you build up a territory's buildings (giving you special bonuses), then give it to a vassal, does that vassal really get the benefits? That is, I'm wondering how much the AI and computer takes into effect NPCs building up and using buildings for stats. Pravus tends to play by war after war after war, and then winds up with a very unstable realm. I take it it's good to pause between wars so you don't get the peasants (from being levied) and your vassals (from sending their levy) to war so often, right? Like part of negative opinion from your vassals is from recent wars, and that also raises unrest and more frequent peasant revolts. I found out about it by watching Pravus on Youtube, and it seems really fun and like something I'd enjoy. I was just thinking of making a thread to ask a question about this game. Of course there are still bugs, but that is hardly a surprise. It is certainly expanding on the roleplaying side of the game and gives a lot more to do besides map painting. For each you need to plan your route to where the event is taking place, trying to avoid dangers along the way, such as areas of low control, or dangerous terrain. The old ones, hunts, pilgrimages and feasts have been expanded upon, and there are two new ones, the tours and tournaments. Characters now move around the map when going to events. ![]() Regencies are important as the whole expansion is about going out into the world, often leaving the realm and so you need someone to look after the shop. If they are ambitious or a villain, they may try to take advantage of it for their own gains and even be reluctant to give up power when the monarch comes into their own. Regencies have been worked on, which can result in struggles between the regent and the monarch, depending on the personality of the regent. I’ll still play ironman but it good that there are options, like some of the big mods and you play them and get achievements. If you really wanted to cheat previously, you already could, and sometimes bugs could just break an ironman game without ways of getting around it – so this is fine. ![]() First off, they are following Vic3 and making it so that you don’t need to play Ironman to get achievements, and that you can even use mods. Tours & Tournaments has a lot of changes and new stuff. I think the expectation was that the Byzantines would be the next flavour pack, so this was unexpected, but it is good they are working on other parts of the world. The flavour pack will be like the Scandinavia and Iberia ones, fleshing out the region, and will cover the region between the Indus and the Euphrates, expanding on the Clan government and the Islamic and Zoroastrian faiths. The event pack is a small thing meant to have more options for events for kids, either being them or raising them. It is first part of what they call Chapter II, followed up by the Wards and Wardens event pack in Q3 and Legacy of Persia flavour pack in Q4. The last thread fell into the necro range, so time for a new one and the new DLC, Tours & Tournaments. ![]()
